Founded in 1961 by four Americans, the collection features objects which testified to the rich heritage of the folk and decorative arts in America.
A poem has been inscribed on one of the blocks of this Baltimore Album Quilt and is accompanied by the inscription ‘Alice A. Ryder, April 1st, 1847, Baltimore, Md.
